Retread is a nonprofit organization created simply, to reshape life! Our hearts are currently pointed towards elementary age children living in economically challenged, urban city locations. We have a desire to mentor, instill positive attitudes, build strong character, and show love. Currently we are reshaping lives through the giving of new shoes, school supplies, new coats, summer camp scholarships, and an after school program created to offer enrichment activities and assistance with homework.
Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders and we feel we have a responsibility to invest into their lives!
[...] Jubilee Kids Club 17 05 2008 Today my family and I along with some other friends of ours spent a couple of hours at a homeless shelter in Mckinney, TX called The Samaritan Inn. The program that we are involved in is called Jubilee Kids Club and it is under the umbrella of an awesome non-profit organization called Retread. [...]
